Our Commitment to Transparent Pricing

We understand that cost is an important factor when considering private healthcare. We offer clear pricing structures and packages whenever possible to ensure you know what to expect upfront.


For Insured Patients

Dr Mohamed Otify is recognized by all major private medical insurers, including:

  • BUPA
  • Aviva
  • AXA PPP
  • Vitality Health
  • WPA

Important Information for Insurance Patients:

  • Most insurance companies pay consultant fees in full
  • Some policies may have a small shortfall — please check your policy details before your appointment
  • Certain insurers require consultations at specific hospital locations (please confirm when booking)
  • You must obtain authorization from your insurer before your appointment (for both consultant and facility fees)
  • Provide your authorization number and policy details when booking
  • Without prior authorization, your appointment may need to be rescheduled
  • If you are covered by a major UK insurer, we can only invoice the insurer directly — we cannot invoice you personally

We recommend contacting your insurance provider before booking to confirm:

  • Your policy covers the consultation and any required procedures
  • Which hospital location is approved under your policy
  • Your authorization reference number


For Self-Paying Patients

We offer transparent, competitive pricing for all consultations and procedures.

Payment Information:

  • Fixed consultation fees with no hidden charges
  • Package pricing available for procedures when appropriate
  • Additional tests (ultrasound scans, blood tests, biopsies) incur separate charges beyond the consultation fee
  • Payment required at time of service
  • We accept card payments only — cash payments are not accepted


Consultation Duration:

Please allow up to one hour for your appointment. This ensures adequate time for thorough assessment, examination, and discussion of findings and treatment options.


Translation Services

If you require translation services during your consultation, please inform us when booking. Translation services incur an additional fee to cover the interpreter's time.


Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances change, but we kindly ask for your cooperation with our cancellation policy:


Cancellation Notice Required: Minimum 24 hours' notice

Why This Matters:
With adequate notice, we can allocate your appointment time to another patient requiring care.

Late Cancellation or Missed Appointment:
As with most private clinics, appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed appointments will incur a cancellation fee.
