We understand that cost can be an important factor when considering private health services, especially for those seeking treatment for conditions like fibroids or gynaecological cancer. We have a transparent approach to our fees and offer packages whenever possible to ensure clarity upfront while keeping our costs as low as possible. 

Fee Information for Insured Patients:

We are recognised by all major insurers, including BUPA, Aviva, AXA PPP, Vitality, and WPA. Most insurance companies pay fees in full; however, with some, there may be a small shortfall. Please check your policy with your insurance company prior to visiting. Note that patients from certain medical insurance companies can only be seen at our location at The Nuffield Hospital (please check with our team when enquiring).

All patients intending to use private medical insurance need to obtain authorisation (for both the consultant and facility) and provide authorisation and policy numbers prior to their visit. Failure to do so means you may not be seen. If you are covered by a major UK insurer, we can only invoice the insurer. We are unable to invoice the patient directly.

Fee Information for Self-Paying Patients:

For self-paying patients, we understand that cost can be a significant consideration when looking into treatments like hysterectomies or laparoscopies. We maintain a transparent pricing structure and offer packages to ensure clarity upfront while minimizing our costs as much as possible. 

No cash policy: we have implemented a no-cash policy; therefore, we will no longer accept cash payments at our clinic location.

Translation Service:

Please note, consultations that require translation services, particularly for complex conditions, will incur an additional fee.

Cancellation Policy:

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for all cancellations to allocate the time to someone else. As with most other clinics, we regret that we must apply a late cancellation or missed appointment fee. We trust that you will understand our policy and thank you for your cooperation.

Please note:

Consultation fees are applicable to any visit; however, extra tests like ultrasound scans, blood tests, tissue biopsies, etc., will incur a separate charge in addition to the consultation fees. 

We advise that you allow up to one hour for your visit to our gynaecologist, who specializes in women's health and procedures like robotic surgery.
