 We aim to make paying for your care as straightforward as possible.

Whether you are using private medical insurance or paying for your treatment yourself, our process is transparent, easy to follow, and designed with your convenience in mind.


For Insured Patients

If you plan to use private medical insurance, please ensure that:

  • You obtain authorization for both the consultant and the facility before your appointment
  • You provide your authorization code and policy number to our administrative team in advance

Important: Without prior authorization, we may not be able to proceed with your appointment.

If you are covered by a major UK insurer, we must invoice the insurer directly — we are unable to invoice the patient for insured consultations or treatments.

Our team will confirm your cover and any location-specific requirements. Please note that certain insurers only approve appointments at specific hospital locations.

Dr Mohamed Otify is recognized by all major UK private medical insurers, including:

For Self-Paying Patients

If you are funding your own treatment, you will receive a detailed invoice directly from your consultant for your initial consultation or procedure.

We provide:

  • Clear invoicing
  • Transparent pricing with no hidden fees
  • Fixed-price packages when available
  • Payment instructions and support

What's Included in Your Invoice:

  • Consultation fees
  • Procedure costs (when applicable)
  • Facility fees
  • Any diagnostic tests performed

We will provide clear instructions for payment and can assist with any queries, making the process smooth and stress-free.


Payment Methods

You can pay for your consultation or treatment in full using one of the following secure options:

1. Pay by Telephone:

Make payment at any time through our management team, who will process your payment securely over the phone.

2. Pay by Post:

If you prefer to pay by cheque:

  • Make payable as stated on your invoice
  • Write your hospital account number on the back
  • Write your invoice number clearly on the back
  • Send to the address provided on your invoice

3. Pay Online:

Quick and easy online payment option available.

Contact our team and we will send you a secure payment link by email. You can then pay using:

  • Credit card
  • Debit card
  • Secure online banking


Payment Terms

  • Payment is required after time of service for self-paying patients
  • Invoices for procedures are typically issued within 48 hours
  • Payment should be made within 30 days of invoice date
  • We accept all major credit and debit cards
  • Cash payments are not accepted
